Isolate
Duplicated the layer, desaturated the dup, applied a reveal all mask, then I spent a full hour painting in the flower. Would've taken about 40 minutes had I not been browsing and faving on dA. I'll probably do more photos like this, I really like the effect (even if it is a big cliche).

You know what you need to do is go eat Chinese with us all on Friday, then you can post an awesome blog about how great it was and how cool your friends are. BTW, I met with your mom this morning about taxes(which I officially hate) and I found out that little Joel owes the IRS (Idiot Retards Stupid - no that doesn't even have to make sense, I'm venting) a total of $857 dollars. I'm gonna start collecting aluminum cans. Nice flower.
